More research has been published about women being worse off financially after divorce, with particular reference to pensions. I have written an earlier piece about other research on the same topic here.
The new article is from Royal London and is here.
Again, the value of pensions are being highlighted and spouses divorcing – but particularly women – are urged to consider their future after divorce with a particular eye on pensions. It is really hard to think of 20 year further down the line if you are divorcing, say, in your 40s but looking at all of the research, spouses do need to think of this.
Pensions can be difficult. I like the challenge!
