Those who know me know how I feel about my beloved Essex. I am absolutely chuffed to be in my second year of sponsoring the Essex Women and Girls Rugby team. The funding for them is really limited and I know what I give is making an impact for women and girls in Essex. I have seen the morale boost that good team kit can give. Something so simple but unifying.
This month, I was delighted to sponsor a learning event for the teams. You see in the centre there former England captain, Marlie Packer, who came along to speak to the Essex team. I think they gave her a warm welcome, looking at that smile on her face.
I love my county and my community. Get involved! To coin a phrase, every little helps.
