Yes, it is true. Whilst I barely look old enough (ahem, thank you) I am indeed celebrating 25 years as a solicitor. For me, my journey was O Levels (remember those?), A Levels, a year and a half working plus another A Level, university for three years, Law School for a year (a bit like finishing school only no snow, hot chocolate or fondue and LOTS of exams), two years of articles (now called a training contract) and then my name admitted to the Roll of solicitors, kept by the Law Society of England and Wales.
That’s a lot of learning, you might be thinking and you would be right. But the learning never stops and I love it. I continue to learn, be curious and aim to improve my skills so that my clients get the benefit.
Here’s to the next 25.
If you need help with a family law matter, you know where I am. Give me a call. It is as simple as that.
