Solicitors are a bit like chocolates..

They are a bit like chocolates -so many to choose from but you should only have one.

You’ve got lots going on. Your best friend tells you to do this. You read that on the Internet. Your mum and dad think the other. This. That. The other. And on top of that, you really do want to get some legal advice and you need to see a solicitor.  Which one? How much will is cost? They are expensive, aren’t they? What if you decide after the meeting that you are not ready to move forward yet. Difficult, isn’t it?

It doesn’t have to be. That’s our message. Solicitors are just normal people like you, going to work, juggling family and friends.. and the housework. Ok, so we have a job that not everyone does but you will find most solicitors chose the job not as a job but as a vocation. A passion. A fundamental interest in helping people. That’s us.

We say ‘come and see us’. We offer a low-cost initial interview of up to an hour for £100.00. We don’t offer the ‘half hour free’. What’s the point in that? We’re honest and up front. You need at least an hour. We don’t think you can learn anything to help in just half an hour. That’s why we offer a special reduced rate for a full hour.

There’s no obligation after this interview either. Ready to move forward? Great. Let’s talk next steps. Not ready to move forward? Fine. Come back to us when you are ready. Will we be chasing you for you to decide? No. We leave it to you. We’re here when YOU are ready.

And the last point? Well, that is the fundamental point in our view. Straight talking. The advice in terms than you can understand and use. Don’t get us wrong; we can do the ‘lawyer speak’. We are just a bit more chatty than that.
